Our client, is an organisation that has in excess of 25 years track record, is going through an extended period of growth and is continuing to win a diverse range of Civil works projects in North Queensland. This group has a proud reputation for delivery a broad spectrum of projects across civil engineering construction, the manufacture and supply of construction materials, building services, and property development arenas. Owning key assets and with a strong financial outlook this visionary group is seeking to appoint a experienced Civil Project Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Cairns or Townsville!
To be successful in this key position, your Civil Engineering qualifications must be supported by a minimum of 2 years experience gained across relevant civil works projects, at this level. As a Civil Project Engineer you will be responsible for quality control, construction management, leading a team of staff, manage sub contractors, control costs, and communicate successfully with the other stakeholders. Furthermore, your other key responsibilities within this position will require you to work closely with the Project Manager in the delivery of this these projects and achieve the desired outcomes, whilst ensuring systems are compliant to OHS&E legislation.
To undertake this role successfully, it is essential that you have:
Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field, Civil engineering
A work history involving a minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Engineer
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
