Contracts Manager - New Construction
Our client is a large civil contractor. This is a diverse network including all roads, which consist of unsealed roads to remote beaches, asphalts roads and settlements and busy sealed roads to the popular seaside towns.
This is an intermediate to senior role. You as the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the contract from start to finish.
You will have skills and experience in the following areas:
， A sound knowledge of new construction road practices
， Proven experience in project management
， Computer skills - Word, Excel and Access
， Working in a close partnering relationship with client and consultant
， Management of staff and subcontractors
， Commitment to safety and quality management
Ideally this position would suit a person who has an interest in new construction in the civil industry and one who is looking to expand their career into the construction management field. Future opportunities exist within the company to work on major construction project both within New Zealand and offshore.
A competitive remuneration package and the use of a company vehicle will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
