Today¡¯s Navy requires professionals able to deliver a service to ensure the needs of an expanding fleet are met.
Our ships and their crews operate in a challenging environment. To ensure the ongoing effectiveness and availability of the fleet to meet the needs of Government, a robust maintenance philosophy supported by quality assurance principles is employed. You will have the desire to employ your quality assurance knowledge in an operational role to assist in this aim.
As the successful candidate, you will have, (or be working towards), the Certificate in Quality Assurance and ideally will have an engineering background. A working knowledge of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and experience in the management of safety and health in an engineering environment is beneficial. Your people skills will allow you to comfortably and effectively engage at all levels of the organisation.
