Candida Stationery Limited is a strongly established market leader in envelope production in New Zealand, with a growing share in the Australian market. The company enjoys an enviable reputation for its high quality standards and it has successfully diversified into production of school and commercial stationery with staffing numbers now totalling approximately 160 in New Zealand and Australia.

Candida currently seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Human Resources Manager to a generalist role incorporating responsibility for both New Zealand and Australian operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, the appointee will have accountability for all aspects of HR management including recruitment and selection, occupational safety and health, training and development, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and management of ISO. The appointment also plays a key role within the company¡¯s senior management team with responsibility for advising line management on all personnel issues.

To fulfil this key role, the company is keen to attract a tertiary qualified Human Resource professional with a minimum of 6 – 10 years¡¯ HR experience covering all aspects of generalist HR, ideally gained within significant manufacturing environments. Focus will be upon the ability to develop and implement strategies which will influence and impact people at all levels in the organisation, while also attending to operational detail in a ¡®hands on¡¯ capacity. Effective communication skills to interact at both senior management and ¡®shop floor¡¯ level will be essential, and the person we seek must be committed to team work and collaboration to enhance a positive work climate.
