Loss Adjuster





Auckland

The Adjusting and Supply team have a vacancy for a Loss Adjuster in Auckland (preferably home based). This role will focus on customer service and expedite quality claims settlements and decisions in support of existing claims handling processes.

Key Requirements:
Property Loss Adjusting experience/qualifications

Proven experience in handling Commercial and Domestic claims

Market/Broker knowledge

Excellent customer service skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including report writing

A high level of competence in keyboard use and computer literacy

Outstanding organisational, time and self management skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Willingness to work outside normal hours to fulfill the requirements of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply ˇ°best practiceˇ± Loss Adjusting methods, which will include completing accurate scopes of work and pricing, to ensure minimum claims cost leakage and quality decisions/settlements

Liaising with Service Providers to ensure the delivery of quality and cost effective repairs/reinstatements

Accurate and well presented reports detailing all information required to justify a position taken or to allow claims handlers to make informed decisions.

Customer service skills to meet/exceed company standards for both the internal and external customer.
