About the Role
The CPE Developer is expected to design, develop and test hardware and/or software used on the Arc Innovations Advanced Meter Management systems.
In addition the CPE Developer will work on systems including:
• customer premise equipment employing embedded electronics and software
• vending infrastructure and associated networks such as kiosks, POS terminals, peripherals and communication hardware
• back office systems comprising servers, WAN/LAN equipment and software
The Position:
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a tangible impact including designing, developing, documenting and testing of software and/or hardware using best engineering practices as well as the design, implementation and testing of PC based test and diagnostic software. This will include the preparation and the review of specification, design, development and test documentation.
The Requirements:
Relevant tertiary level qualification
Experience in an embedded hardware and software development environment
Experience with structured and Object-Oriented design methodologies
Experience with product design and verification testing
