Our client has a current vacancy for an experienced technical specialist to drive the hands-on delivery of BI and Supply Chain solutions. You will be experienced in the design, development and implementation of BI and Supply Chain solutions particularly in the manufacturing and primary industry sectors. The role involves designing, developing, implementing and supporting BI and Supply Chain solutions for a range of our key clients.
Responsibilities include:
BI solution implementation using accepted vendor tools sets.
Supply chain solution implementation using accepted vendor tools sets.
Liaising with clients at both a technical and business level to confirm detailed requirements and to undertake SDLC tasks such as system and user acceptance testing
Develop custom reporting solutions to agreed customer specifications.
Work with the Project Managers to deliver solutions according to plan.
Provide technical support to customers under service level agreements following the implementation of our client¡¯s solutions.
Capabilities required include:
The ability to liaise with clients to establish the requirements for the development of BI and Supply Chain solutions.
¡¤ The ability to develop and implement BI and Supply Chain solutions particularly in the Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Software development experience in Microsoft / SQL 2000 arena including a sound working knowledge of the SQL language.
Experience with ETL / DTS tools and SQL Server Reporting Services.
Proven experience in the use of data warehousing, custom reporting, and OLAP toolsets.
Previous implementation experience with supply chain systems and/or Microsoft BizTalk.
Microsoft MCITP Certification would be an advantage.
