Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 + Bonus
Settlements Officer
Working within a dynamic team, your role will be to advance mortgage applications through to settlement stage and conduct post settlement activities.
Responsibilities will include
- updating status of loans on the system
- following up clients and referrers for outstanding documentation
- liaising with staff, clients and referrers to solve issues promptly
- maintaining strong relationships with referrers
- upon post settlement, conducting upstamps, variations, switches and discharges
Our client is seeking someone with previous exposure to legal work in conveyancing and/or documentation and settlement work within a banking/finance environment. Highly organised, you will use your initiative and work well under pressure and to deadlines. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong relationship focus are essential factors for success in this role.
