Within this position of Customer Services – Dispatch Operator you will be working within a supportive, fun team. In summary your duties and responsibilities will encompass:
The daily processing of sales orders and inventory movements
accurately and timely action orders.
Liaise internally and externally
Co-management of timely, accurate and cost effective despatch.
Forward planning of days delivery requirements including organisation and
planning of nightshift before days end.
Regular communication with distribution suppliers.
Assisting and supporting the surrounding team in overflow situations
Co-ordinate logistics of deliveries
Pre-empt the needs of customers
Maintaining regular customer contact re ETA
Project work
Implement effective and efficient systems and procedures
Call / make contact daily with major customers re their requirements for the day ahead
Associated Administration
Customer Services – following up enquiries, action requests etc
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour for lunch) alternate Saturdays 6.30am-12pm, Salary $45 - 50k + bonus + an amazing array of benefits.
