To present and promote the services of The OSCAR Foundation

The OSCAR Foundation is seeking an Advisor to work with OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) programmes in the Wellington/Wairarapa region. These programmes cater for children aged between 5 and 14 years. .
The primary objectives of this position are:
to present and promote the services of The OSCAR Foundation
to provide quality advice and support to organisations setting up and/or operating OSCAR programmes
to work with related agencies and services to assist OSCAR providers to achieve their programme outcomes
We are seeking someone who has:
experience working with community groups
knowledge of/empathy for the OSCAR sector
the ability to work independently
a high level of communication skills, both oral and written
a commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and bicultural development
