Our client, a privately owned, culture focused Civil Engineering and Construction company, operating numerous projects across Queensland, has a requirement for a Civil Estimator to join their Brisbane team to undertake a broad range of civil works projects across South East Queensland.
This opening represents a fantastic opportunity to join a leading employer, one who boasts great staff retention through their continued investment in their people. Within this role you will be required to have a demonstrated background at this level within a Civil Works environment..
Ideally the successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in civil engineering and a minimum of 3yrs experience in a civil contracting environment.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have experience covering:
Relevant experience in civil engineering & industrial projects either at project level or in an estimating capacity.
Knowledge & understanding of first principles estimating.
Strong computer skills & the ability to work with computerised estimating & programming packages.
The ability to work both independently & as part of a progressive & innovative team.
