We are working closely with a contractor based in the South Island, whom have had a fantastic year. They also have a number of projects on their books for the rest of 2006 and well into 2007.
Due to internal movement an opportunity has arisen in Queenstown for an operations manager. This is a position which needs to be filled sooner rather than later, to enable a smooth transition of the current manager.
You will have a strong career history in the construction industry here in New Zealand and must be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of working on projects from new build to refurbishment, working on commercial and industrial schemes.
To be successful in this role, you need to ideally have come from a trades background and made your way up the ranks to site management. So you will have strong understanding of the pressures of deadlines, building relationships with clients and will not be phased with problems as and when they arise.
This is an unprecedented opening to work in a location that can offer a host of opportunity in out door living and lifestyle.
This position has a salary that will reflect the level of responsibility and the level of experience you have to offer..
