Senior Energy Economist Think With Energy! Contribute Towards a Sustainable Energy Future
Test Yourself in a Project Focused Environment
High Calibre Team
Wellington Based
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) was established as a Crown Entity in 2000. EECA is the main body responsible for helping to deliver the Government's extensive energy efficiency agenda. Its function is to encourage, promote and support energy efficiency, energy conservation and the use of renewable energy sources. Exciting and diverse roles are now available to contribute to the strategy of this innovative and forward thinking organisation.
Can you anticipate and lead the way in the development of high quality, well researched and reasoned economic analyses?
With a focus on energy, energy end-use, and energy productivity, you will be identifying opportunities, monitoring change and improving decision making to inform and enable the development and delivery of the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy as well as other EECA activities.
Other responsibilities include identifying energy productivity trends, sustainable energy interventions and analysing international energy resource implications on the NZ economy.
With a background in economics or similar field, and with the flexibility and the ability to look at the big picture perspective, your ability to influence robust economic debate both internally and externally, will be fully tested.
