Part time Lecturer in Advanced Taxation (evening class)

The Unitec Business School is seeking to appoint a part time lecturer to teach an evening class of Advanced Taxation in the Bachelor of Business in Semester One 2007. In the Advanced Taxation course students critically examine selected contemporary taxation issues with a view to developing competency in technical argument, tax planning and decision making, and analysing New Zealand’s taxation policy in an international context.
The successful applicant will:
Be a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants
Have extensive practical experience in this specialist area
Will be enthusiastic about working with students to enhance their knowledge
Have an understanding and have empathy for students from a range of cultural backgrounds
Prior teaching experience will be beneficial.
