Description |

Director of Executive Development
The University of Auckland Business School is an important part of New Zealand’s leading research lead university and is focused on developing a world class international Business School which addresses the needs of New Zealand business and the economy in its global context. At the end of 2007 the Business School, which includes the new Graduate School of Enterprise, will move into an outstanding state of the art building which is currently under construction.
As Director of Executive Development you will provide leadership in:
*Designing and implementing programmes which meet the learning needs of the Business School partners and the wider New Zealand business and professional communities through open enrolment and customised programmes in practical and relevant ways.
*Generating a surplus to support the educational mission of the Business School.
You will enjoy working with people in a matrix structure and should have:
A strategic understanding of the importance of learning and partnerships with enterprise to New Zealand business and the development of the economy.
A positive and proactive approach to action and a demonstrated track record for innovative thinking and approaches to executive development, publishing and media development.
A capacity to engage others in a common purpose and to develop the potential of individuals and teams.
Excellent planning and project management skills.
The ability to build networks of alliances and resources.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and skills.
