Regional Strategic Planner

We are looking for a Regional Strategic Planner in the Auckland Region. This is a key role in helping support the Regional Commissioner for Social Development in their whole-of-government strategic planning in the region and their social development leadership role.

In this role, you will be co-ordinating planning processes within the Ministry, such as the Ministry¡¯s Regional Plan and externally, plans that will assist with working collaboratively with other government agencies, local government, community, businesses and other organisations in Auckland.

Relationship management across the Ministry of Social Development service lines in Auckland and externally across other agencies and organisations is an important element of this role.

You should be familiar with key strategic documents such as, Opportunity for All New Zealanders, the Ministry of Social Development¡¯s Statement of Intent, the Social Report and the Ministry of Social Development¡¯s Leading Social Development in Auckland Regional Plan 2006/2007.
