Our client is a well appointed restaurant that has undergone a huge refurbishment, offering locals the very best local cuisine in the area. They are now seeking an experienced General Bar Manager to come and join their superb team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the bar. You will be accountable for the supervision of all staff, ensuring the legal operation of the sale of liquor, food and entertainment.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Setting and maintaining standards for staff to follow
Ordering beverage and non-beverage items when required
Setting staff incentives to be achieved
Managing staff rosters and staff records
To be successful you will need to possess the following:
Ability to give clear instructions
Positive and friendly attitude
Commitment to a team environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure
