In order to do this the business needs talented, committed and experienced people with a passion for performance to play key strategic roles as the business expands its horizons in a competitive international landscape.
This is a key role in the newly formed leadership team. Working closely with the COO, to whom the position reports, this senior role will focus on major organisational change as the business continues to evolve.
A critical success factor for the role will be to ensure that the right people are in place with the right attitude and skills to ensure the right business outcomes. This is a strategic role with an operational focus and it is an opportunity to design, develop and build the HR function across the organisation in New Zealand and offshore. Comprehensive HR generalist responsibilities will include payroll, health and safety, remuneration and learning and development.
This pivotal position calls for tertiary HR qualifications, preferably to Master degree level, and well honed HR skills, ideally crafted in a manufacturing environment. Commercial astuteness, combined with strong influencing ability and excellent communication are essential components. In addition, demonstrable experience of leading organisational change and delivering results will be critical in order to build capability throughout the business.
