Manager: Application Support
Senior Management role within market leading Financial Services Co. recognised as one of the Top 5 Employers in NZ.
This is a newly created role is specifically responsible for the management of a team of business systems consultants, application support analysts and production support analysts responsible for all production application systems.
Specifically this role will encompass:
Leadership, Culture and People Management
Communication and reporting
IS and Business Strategy
Application Support
Vendor management
Budget and Cost Control
Change Management
Candidates will be expected to be tertiary qualified and with circa 10 years commercial IT experience. You will demonstrate a broad business knowledge coupled with good understanding of the SDLC. You will have proven Management skills, including SLA negotiations, incident management, strategic planning, staff management and budget control.
Previous experience in the financial services sector, particularly Insurance will be beneficial.
This role represents a fantastic opportunity with plenty of challenges and hard work, alongside a genuine opportunity to be a member of the senior management team responsible for transforming the business and making your own mark on the organisation and cementing your reputation as a top flight technical manager.
