A top global Financial Services organisation is now seeking a professional who can act in the diverse space of Client Support & Relationships and also act alongside individuals to include Programme / Project Managers along with Business Analysts and the technical team.
Essential expectations for this role:-
* strategy for information systems and technology
* application support and operational management for application support
* vendor and 3rd party management
* leadership, budgetary, incident and stakeholder management
* legal and regulatory compliance
* application deployment
*The successful applicant will bring:
a tertiary qualification in Information Systems or a Business related area is desirable.
a broad knowledge of business and business functions, in one or more business sectors.
experience negotiated service level agreements with external supplier vendor partners.
in-depth knowledge of business practices, specifically in the Insurance industry.
familiarity with the system development life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
knowledge of project management methodologies is preferable, gained from external training courses and/or on-the-job training and/or practical experience.
knowledge of the sales processes
experience in systems development principles and techniques.
knowledge of technology issues and directions.
demonstration of a strong awareness of the uses of IS within the Financial industry and specifically within competitive or associated organisations operating in the same market.
