Hally Labels Limited is a market leader in the development and manufacture of sophisticated labelling solutions to a range of clients, from large corporates to entrepreneurial small businesses. This privately-owned business operates in a competitive Australasian manufacturing environment and is highly valued by clients for its innovative use of global and in-house technologies, ISO quality approach to both design and manufacture and ability to partner in developing unique labelling solutions.
This is a key senior appointment for their Christchurch site and part of the New Zealand senior management team. The role will be responsible for leading change and implementing tangible process improvements to enable the organisation to evolve and gear itself towards an ambitious future. With responsibility for approximately 100 staff throughout the production process in a market that expects the very best the industry can provide, this role is as much about strong people leadership as it is about having a good technical understanding of equipment and process flow.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with strong relationship building skills, a solid technical understanding, excellent attention to detail and an intimate appreciation of customer requirements. While a pre-press, print or manufacturing background is ideal, personal characteristics such as strong communication and coaching skills are likely to be the key to high performance in this role. Finally, you will have a strong personal commitment to achieving results, and the maturity and tenacity to make it happen.
