On the Move - IT/Telco Territory Account Management

Leaders in IT distribution-Package OTE $80-90,000 = Base+car allowance commissions laptop and phone.

Work for one of New Zealand¡¯s leading information technology distributors, one which is considered the largest dealer channel in Australasia and already has gained a strong profile as the industry leader.

The company distributes products on behalf of some of the world¡¯s leading manufacturers – including Acer, IBM, HP, Canon, Packard Bell. Products include – notebooks, desktops and servers, network hardware, printers, fax machines, digital lifestyle products and consumables - and they are distributed to the reseller community only. They also deal with Cellular Services -so this role would be a good 50/50 split.

Key activities will include being on the road four or five days a month to build and nurture relationships with IT resellers and retail stores from Palmerston North to New Plymouth.

You will be warmly welcomed as you travel around educating the resellers on the latest prestigious product range in Desktop and Server products. You will hunt for new opportunities, cross market products, maintain the high level of retention with key accounts, entertain clients, undertake product training and merchandise control, manage reports, budget, check and organise point-of-sale materials, deliver presentations and come up with new and exciting ways to diversify the channels.

Key to this role will be your ability to work closely with the vendor to position the company's product range, with your reseller channel, and overall to promote the product range.

Key relationships will be developed with IT resellers and retail stores (e.g. Harvey Norman, Noel Lemming, TetraVision) with great support from the HO Auckland sales team, warehouse and distribution, vendors, and senior management.
