New Part-Time Role (20 - 25 hours)
This new role will focus on raising the organisation's profile, identifying new revenue streams and enhancing brand awareness. Reporting to the Executive Director and being part of the senior management team, this role contributes to the YWCA's journey of change, growth and development on its quest to become a voice for women.
Leading a small team responsible for fundraising and public relations, this role has the interesting combination of relationship management and development with a wide range of stakeholders, whilst also developing a strong advocacy role for the YWCA on women's issues.
The role requires a wide range of skills and experience. You will need to demonstrate real strength in networking, relationship management and influencing individuals and groups. You should be comfortable switching from strategy to implementation and be accepting of some of a not-for-profit's limitations in funding or develop the required revenue streams to meet your ideas. You should also be able to work independently and as part of the team. Your experience should include seniority in marketing, fundraising or public relations.
But, most of all, you will need to identify strongly with the cause of and be passionate about women's issues and their development and be prepared to speak up about them.
