Senior Product Manager - BT Funds Management
Auckland
As a senior Product Manager you will be responsible for supervising the Product and Marketing team, and managing the ultimate performance of a suite of BT products. Reporting to BT's Chief Operating Officer and managing a team of four direct reports, this senior role is accountable for proactively managing and developing BT and Westpac products to meet business unit objectives and strategic initiatives and protecting BT's brand.
With the support of your team you will analyse trends and behaviour and make recommendations around strategic direction. This encompasses profitability and market positioning tactics, including making recommendations to the business on margin and profitability. You will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders including marketing communications, legal, operations and sales in order to achieve your objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Product Manager within financial services, who exudes initiative and displays strong leadership execution and stakeholder management skills. It is essential that you are confident, can influence others and can rapidly build credibility.
We are seeking a telented individual who possesses the following:
A minimum of 5 years experience in end to end product management
Experience at a leading fund manager
Ability to execute and deliver product to market within tight timeframes
Sound product knowledge, particularly market needs fulfilment and process
Exceptional relationship managment skills with a strong existing network in managed funds
Detailed knowledge of the New Zealand managed funds regulatory environment
