Job Description This is an excellent opportunity to join a medium sized IT company that delivers software applications to exacting standards technical excellence. The main focus of the role is to be an account manager for one of their major clients their enviable client base. You will supervise a friendly, supportive team of IT professionals and receive plenty of support from very experienced people within the company. Your mission is to ensure that the technical problems raised by customers in the post implementation phase are solved and to motivate your team to excel at troubleshooting in a structured environment. In addition, your team will be providing technical support to the customer on a day-to-day basis and other groups within the company. Ideally you will have solid experience working in a similar role. You will come from a technical background and have moved into the development environment, or you will be attracted to working with technology. To succeed in this role, you will achieve the SLAs by making sure every request is allocated, managing timeframes, meeting the quality assurance requirements, resourcing the projects, assigning the people to resolve issues within their capability or escalating items to another team. Your role involves organising and motivating your team to deliver the agreed results against performance measures. You will have excellent English verbal and written skills with the ability to understand the technical issues raised by clients. You will be working with a dedicated workforce of IT and customer service professionals with a real commitment to providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
