Strategic role
A North Shore City Council initiative involving SPARC and Harbour Sport is committed to assisting young people to use their unstructured leisure time engaged in physical activity. The scope is wide and the challenge is to drive the strategy and relationships that will make this happen.
Working with the council, sport and recreation clubs, community and youth organisations this role will lead and influence the growth of youth driven physical activity initiatives.
They are seeking a motivated person with proven strategic, project management and operational leadership ability. Outstanding relationship management and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate is likely to have a tertiary qualification and a leadership background in a community development or similar role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic manager who can think outside the square and has an interest in sport and physical activity.
