• Knowledge and experience of strategic planning and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and self-managing
• Experience and exposure to the sports & recreation sector
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the sport and the media.
• Computer skills, including presentation preparation
• Financial skills, including budget development and management
• Sponsorship and funding experience
• Relationship building with clubs and key stakeholders
• Ability to develop initiatives to take the sport ¡®to the people¡¯ and to motivate clubs to increase membership.
