General Manager - Remuera Rackets Club
Remuera Rackets Club is one of New Zealand's premier tennis and squash clubs. The Club is proud of it’s reputation for being the leading provider of quality tennis and squash facilities to the people of Auckland. Established in 1907, the Club has built a reputation for an inviting, social and friendly atmosphere for both professional and social players.
The Club has a thriving membership of 1,600 and a comprehensive range of recreation facilities that include tennis and squash courts as well as an exclusive gymnasium offering boxing and pilates classes. The position of General Manager is an important and exciting role key to the ongoing success of the business.
The General Manager will be responsible and accountable for the effective and efficient running of the Club. In this customer focused leadership role you would work collaboratively with the operational staff, The Board and key Sponsors.
To succeed in the role you will have a passion and desire to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Remuera Rackets including the ongoing marketing of the Club and the increase of memberships.
If you have proven leadership ability, a passion for a sporting environment and excellent written and verbal communication skills this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.
