For over 67 years, ChildFund New Zealand has been helping deprived children to break free from poverty. Formerly known as CCF New Zealand, their aim is still the same - to ensure better lives for the needy children around the world through the support of caring Kiwi families.
We are looking to build on our team of experienced and committed individuals who have the tenacity, drive and raw enthusiasm to make a difference to those children who need support the most.
You will be working in a variety of environments, from shopping arcades where we have committed resources such as information booths, to festivals and road-trips where we can take the message to provincial New Zealand towns and cities.
We need individuals who can find those willing to give and then be able to paint the story, explain the urgency of the situation and effectively empower them to make a difference by sponsoring.
ChildFund¡¯s aim is to create better lives for children, and we are looking for individuals who can help us find long-term sponsors of children in need.
This a job for those of you with the self-belief that you are truly making a difference, and fundamentally you will have the personality that continues to look at the bigger picture.
Permanent employees are expected to work the standard 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 eight hour days for part-time staff.
By the very nature of the role and our target sponsorship audience, you will be expected to work a varied roster during shopping mall hours.
