HealthPAC
HealthPAC is a business unit of the Ministry of Health and is responsible for making and monitoring payments to various health providers.
VACANCY NO. 06/AG161
HealthPAC's Audit & Compliance Unit is the major provider of audit and investigative services to the national health sector and is responsible for the risk management of more than $7 billion of health funding in New Zealand.
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Auditor to join the Audit & Compliance Unit of HealthPAC. The person we are seeking will be part of a 10 member team.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting and assisting with the audit of primary health care providers.
The successful candidate will preferably:
Have the ability to conduct audits to the required standard
Have good analytical skills
Have the ability to write clear, logical and legible audit reports
Have an understanding of the health sector and issues related to funding and performance
Be a strong team player
Have excellent communication skills.
Knowledge/Experience preferred:
Hold a relevant audit qualification
Have experience in an audit environment
Competent computer skills - Word, Access, Excel.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Christchurch.
