The Child, Family and Community Policy team provides advice on giving children the best start in life, prevention of family violence and child abuse, youth justice practice, supporting families to function well and developing the family service sector.. We have strong links to the Ministry's operational arms including Family and Community Services, Child, Youth and Family, the Ministry of Youth Development and Work and Income. This ensures we have the opportunity to develop policy informed by practice and evidence. As Team Manager you will lead a team of analysts and senior analysts and be part of a management group delivering a policy programme that deals with substantial social policy issues. This hands-on leadership role will require you to plan a component of the work programme and ensure that high quality policy products are delivered. You will thrive in an environment where you can guide others through developing robust, evidence-based responses to complex issues.
