Family, Child, Youth and Community Research and Evaluation Unit

The Centre for Social Research and Evaluation (CSRE) develops and maintains a strong evidential knowledge base that provides a foundation for social development policy and service delivery across government. Our team works to improve outcomes for families, children, youth and communities in New Zealand through a targeted programme of research and evaluation

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly skilled support person to work within our Family, Child, Youth and Community Unit. This fixed term opportunity has been established to provide high quality contract planning, administration and monitoring support for the unit. The role will also involve providing project support to our manager and project team members, including project planning and reporting. You will play a key part in helping us meet our team¡¯s strategic goals.

To be successful in this role you will have proven contract and/or project administration experience, a high level of computer skills and a pro-active approach to work demonstrating initiative and good judgment. Good relationship management and both written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience within the social sector and hands-on contract monitoring experience would be advantageous.
