Mental Health Professionals - Early Psychosis
Counties Manukau District Health (CMDHB) is a dynamic and progressive organisation that aims to be at the forefront of innovative mental health delivery. We serve an ethnically diverse population of 435,000 living in the South Auckland area. There is considerable development in CMDHB, leading to many opportunities for innovative service development and leadership by staff members. As part of this, we are pleased to invite applications for the following positions:
Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist
Our team works intensely with young adults who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. We aim to offer multi-faceted interventions and clinical treatment by early identification of young people with symptoms of psychosis, assisting young people and their families/whanau to fully participate in achieving optimal recovery from psychosis. The caseload of the team is low, allowing for dedicated commitment to those receiving services from our team.
We are looking for qualified, experienced, mental health professionals with a commitment, strong interest and a flair for innovative working with young people with psychoses. Previous experience in early intervention roles would be an advantage.
