New Graduate Nursing Programme 2007
Mental Health

Do you want a career in Mental Health Nursing?

An exciting opportunity exists for you to join Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) as a new graduate staff nurse on a full time basis. Successful participants will gain a nationally recognised Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (Mental Health Nursing). You will rotate through a number of clinical settings, with options including our Acute Inpatient wards, Community Services, Rehabilitation Unit, Maori Mental Health, Pacific Mental Health, Older Adults Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Services.

You will receive clinical supervision and preceptoring from experienced mental health nurses. You will also attend classes at the University of Auckland's School of Nursing, with your fees and study days fully subsidised! This qualification earns academic credit towards a Masters programme.
