The position involves:
Conduct traning of Duty Managers and oversee the training of all marine and freight staff Ensure compliance with all maritime and local acts and regulations are adhered to Co-ordinate vessel movements, resouce allocation, staff and running costs Staff managment, performance reviews for all marine and freight staff To seek new opportunities, look for ways to improve efficienty, make suggestions and contribute to the business Co-ordinate security requirements for the wharf operations and fleet Handle monthly reports and marine budgeting and prepare the departments budgets.
