Description |
De Winter International
Web Developer C# / ASP.Net / SQL Server AJAX / Atlas JavaScript + DOM To apply for this role you would have to be happy working in an environment where you really are being supported to achieve the best you can achieve. An example being:
Pure R&D time every week (even whilst on project) in order that you may get up to speed with new technologies and work with languages that aren't so familiar whilst working and not at home with your friends and family.
If you like the sound of all of this and don't mind the odd team function, social drinks on a Friday afternoon and a quick game of pool at lunchtime then this could be the role for you and your impressive portfolio demonstrating your first 3-4 years in WEB DEVELOPMENT could be your ticket to successfully being offered this role...
This role was described to me as 'an excellent opportunity awaiting a talented web-based applications developer; an opportunity to work for the industry leader in their market developing rich media applications' - I agree. The problem though is finding that person..!
I would love to create an amazing web page that would really catch your attention and excite your imagination with regards this role but if I could do that I'd take the job. So... I'll have to stick to my very basic html skills, a mix of advertising & networking and the facts!
You will be working in central Newmarket in a small team of web developers whose role over the coming months is to implement the redesign of the companys' core Media Asset Management systems and internal business tools along with designing future internal & client specific web-based software using Microsoft technologies. After that who knows..! The company is expanding rapidly (the team is expected to double in size within the next twelve months) and new projects are coming up thick and fast so the options are endless at his stage. Not so much reporting to as working with the Development Manager you will be working together developing cross-browser applications in a relaxed environment where much more emphasis is put on results than how you get them..!
As small company, but a market leader in their field, the person who will be compliment the existing team will have 3-4 years experience in web development, an impressive portfolio (although don't hesitate to contact me if you have worked promarily in a consulting environment in the past and can't share your full folio), an appreciation of or experience using Cascade Style Sheets and strong skills to match those above.
For more information or to express interest in being considered for this position please contact Stacy Busek @ De Winter. If you could send me your CV & portfolio in the first instance that would be greatly appreciated

Please note: Your CV will be reviewed promptly and personally and you will be contacted if your skills and experience meet the requirements of any of our clients.
