Unix Engineer - Telco Applications
Our client an International Telecommunications vendor requires the services of an experienced and mature Unix Applications Support Engineer to work with a high profile Mobile Operator for a one year fixed term contract.
To succeed in this role you will have the following skill set:
A structured and measured approach to systems administration.
The ability to excel in a pressurised environment.
Solaris experience preferable although other Unix derivatives will be considered.
Supporting and optimising Oracle databases running on Unix.
Networking experience and good knowledge of IP.
And any one of the following:
Hands on experience in billing or mediation systems.
Experience in supporting Multi Media Messaging systems
Extreme Networks support experience
Up to 80K
