A great opportunity has become available to step into the role of an Application Systems Support Star. Not only will you be challenged and get your hands dirty but also you will see the potential to move up within this company.
However in order to progress any further there are as always certain criteria you must meet to get a look in.
Key Requirements and Personal Attributes:
Minimum 2 years experience working in a support based role focused on applications and resolving their numerous issues.
Working knowledge of SQL including a good understanding of relational databases.
Proven experience in dealing with customers at all levels from the CEO through to an IT Specialists
Superb communication skills - a large amount of emphasis will be place on this pre-requisite.
Fluent in English
Scripting Skills - UNIX, NT and PERL
Experience in replicating known issues and testing various fixes/patches
Perfect documentation skills
A tertiary qualification
As a person you will have a positive, mature approach. You will be very pro-active but have that ability to ask for help when you are out of your depth.
