This progressive and leading Construction Contractor is looking for someone to join their civil estimating department. They offer training, growth and competitive packages.
Requirements
You will preferably have had experience in estimating civil works, however if you have the right attitude and either commenced or completed the necessary formal qualifications in civil engineering or quantity surveying then the client would still be interested.
Responsibilities
Estimating the cost of heavy civil engineering works (bridges, water treatment works, sewage works, pipelines etc) from first principles, starting with taking off quantities, obtaining subcontractor/supplier prices, developing methods to construct the works, pricing the works, preparing non- price attributes for submission with the tender, completing the tender submission.
Specific Skills Required
Completed or partially completed a technical college/university course in civil engineering or quantity surveying
