Help Desk Analyst
HELP DESK ANALYST This organisation conducts the Government¡¯s business with foreign countries and their governments and with international organisations. It advises the Government on foreign and trade policy issues that will affect New Zealand¡¯s interests in relation to other countries. A Help Desk Analyst role has become vacant within this Government department. The purpose of this role is to deliver responsive first tier Help Desk and training services and support to clients world wide. In addition this position has the following key objectives: Train as required, staff in standard applications eg Word, Excel, DOC¡¯s, email/diary, Power point, contacts Database and Merlin formal messaging systems. Increase knowledge of the organisation¡¯s IT environment Regularly analyse all reported incidents/problems and, Act as back up Help Desk Administrator Proven/demonstrated experience in HelpDesk/Call Centre operations is essential. Tertiary or industry qualification in a relevant area of study is highly desirable. You must be a New Zealand Citizen to apply and be able to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Government Security clearance. Monday to Friday- 8am to 6pm (7.5 hour shift)
