Description |
Required for the New Business Team of a leading Construction engineering contractor. The New Business Team's objective is to procure profitable work for the Business Unit by tendering and negotiation.
The successful applicant must have a tertiary qualification in civil engineering and at least 15 years experience in the construction industry.
It is essential that you have a thorough understanding of all contractual aspects of construction contracts including a detailed knowledge of the conditions of tendering for all common forms of contract.
At times, you will perform the role of Bid Manager with the responsibility of leading a team of estimators and engineers to prepare and submit cost proposals
The responsibilities will be adjusted, where practical, in order to recognise the Estimator's skills and ambitions and encourage personal development
