Legal/Procurement Advisor - Part-time Contract Our client is a dynamic and growing private sector company operating in a vendor service environment. We are seeking a contractor for 6 months to cover maternity leave, based in Christchurch. This role is for 20 hours per week (with flexibility on the days/hours of work) to manage the legal and commercial contracts between this organisation and its clients.
You may have either legal, finance, or procurement experience. The role will require you to:
- manage contract negotiations and licensing arrangements (balancing the sales drive with necessary prudent legal/commercial considerations) - provide recommendations to managers, as required, on legal and financial risks with particular proposals and contracts. - ensure the contract signing process and all associated paperwork is compliant with the specified company standards - assist with development of new terms and conditions for contract proposals as required.
