Contracts / Legal Advisor
We are looking for an experienced contracts law specialist to join our growing advisory group, and to provide support to the Connell Wagner New Zealand Executive.
Based in Auckland or Wellington with travel to offices across New Zealand this position offers an opportunity for an ambitious highly motivated individual to become a senior member of the team, contributing to business development. The role will involve offering advisory services to clients, and also providing ¡°in house¡± contracts & legal council, in the following areas;
•Reviewing terms & conditions of professional services appointments,
•Providing advice on legal issues to the executive team, and other senior staff,
•Preparation of contract documents,
•Assessment of construction contract claims, and providing assistance in dispute resolution procedures
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Law degree and considerable experience in dealing with NZ Construction contract law, with a minimum of 10 years experience. Candidates would be further advantaged if they have and engineering or construction managment degree and at least 3 years experience post LLB qaulification.
