Reporting to the NZ Operations Manager this
" hands on " role is essentially responsible for forecasting and demand management of commodity driven products.
Working closely with the Production Manager and sales team the successful applicant will be involved in the daily scheduling of production orders to meet the ever changing priorities based on customer needs for two (2) NZ sites.
Familiar with MRP principles (SAP Preferred) the planner must be a good communicator as the role is key in the sales/production interface.
Key Accountabilities Include:
Responsible for the preparation of the Sales Demand Forecast.
Developing & maintaining Collaborative Planning processes with Key Customers
Maintain pricing and product details.
Develop trends analysis, forecasting and future scenario modelling at a national level.
Special Projects
Key Attributes Include
Well polished communication skills
A strong sense of team work and a desire to make things happen
Advanced numeric and analytical skills, particularly demonstrated through the use of ERP systems.
A high level of initiative and energy
Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
Experience gained from within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or CPIM are preferred
