An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of New Zealands leading professional Retail Companies with an enviable portfolio of properties. They are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager/Operations Manager to oversee an Auckland retail park on the North Shore.
Our client are seeking a high calibre individual who would be able to carry out the following responsibilities:
Undertake the financial control of the business, which would involve forecasting and budgeting
Meeting with contractors to discuss and review work activities on a day-to-day basis
Attending any incidents/breakdowns as required and coordinate a response and any follow up activity
Providing day to day supervision and review of FM activities
The ideal candidate suitable for this role would be from a managerial background that has experience in Facilities Management, and have a good understanding of general building operations and compliance including current legislation. All candidates must meet the following criteria:
Possess strong communication skills
Have excellent financial control (forecasting and budgeting)
Good technical knowledge
Excellent inter-personnel skills (must be able to work autonomously and in a team)
Have an ambitious outlook to progress within the company
Able to think outside the box
