National Shipping and Procurement Manager
Our client is one of NZs premier food and general merchandise retailers and a business that values its employees! As a result of the expansion of the Auckland General Merchandising team, two new positions have become available: National procurement and Shipping Manager and National Procurement and Shipping Coordinator.
Working in a great team environment and reporting through to the National General Merchandise Manager: These roles require people who can work as part of a team and when needed pick up the reigns and work autonomously. Key tasks will include the administering and product order placement on offshore suppliers. You¡¯ll manage all aspects of shipping and associated freight functions, including all relevant documentation to ensure timely delivery and distribution to the nominated delivery points. Importantly you¡¯ll be numerate and comfortable using systems to track and update information on a daily basis. Whilst not critical fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be a nice to have.
You¡¯ll be confident, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders. Join a great team and be in for the Long Haul!
