In operations since 2002, our client is specialist in technology finance. Operating in the CBD, their philosophy of success is rooted in two simple concepts: innovative thinking and building strong relationships. Despite being new to the market, their growth has exploded in the last year and they know that this will only continue.
Given their continual success in New Zealand, a vacancy has arisen for he accountant position. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the position will be responsible for normal duties: bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor ledger maintenance, payroll and tax and statutory reports. However, at the initial stage, this role will be directly involved in implementing the accounting information systems, which includes, but is not limited to, creating the GL codes, setting up the sub-ledgers and ensuring that the information system produces accurate and reliable data for reporting and management purposes.
You will have a strong background in accounting and tax and ideally, have an audit background. You are very flexible to change and want to work in a challenging and fun environment. Finally, you're someone who is happy to have goals set and then confident to implement systems/processes to achieve those goals.
