The Company
My client is one of the largest and fastest-growing multi media companies in Australasia. The company operates a broad portfolio of businesses across five countries and is publicly listed.
The New Zealand Publishing business represents $480 million of the $1.3 billion in total company revenue.
The Role
Due to a recent restructure, the Finance Manager for this business unit will be taking on additional responsibility. As a result he is looking for a strong Business Analyst and 2IC to help manage the team of 3.5 analysts.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, identifying and making recommendations on revenue generating opportunities, developing quarterly pricing strategies, developing customer focused, business intelligence reporting and analysis of a hoc projects.
The Candidate
You will have strong analytical skills but have the type of personality who likes dealing with people. You will be able to say Ħ°noĦħ when needed, but do it in such a way that both parties go away friends. You will be approachable and people will recognise you as a business partner; someone who can add value. You will also be a lateral thinker and systems savvy.
