The ASB group in 2007 is continuing on its innovative and market leading growth path to being New Zealand's premier financial services organisation. As a result of this growth and a realignment of Finance to a shared services model we have an excellent opening for a Senior Financial Accountant.
Working within a small team this position will be responsible for the accounting operations and general ledger control functions for the ASB Group companies in New Zealand. This is a hands-on, busy role and will include ledger control, journal entries, reconciliations, taxation accounting and GL subsystem control. This role is an integral part of the month end reporting process and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial information produced and relied upon
Applicants should be a fully or part qualified CA, ideally with some understanding of taxation accounting. You will need to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail and have strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills.
