Job Description Accounting Administrator

Company: Liverton Limited
Location: Wellington City, Wellington

Pay and benefits: $35-$45,000


Liverton is a software product development and technical services business looking for a full-time Accounting Administrator to assist with the general operations of the business. This is a new position with an immediate start. You will need to be organised, diligent, trained in business accounting activities and keen to help a small business grow.

The specific tasks you will be involved with include:
• Financial Management
o Budget and cash-flow forecasting
o P&L reporting
o Tax compliance requirements
• Accounts processing
o using MYOB software
o invoicing
o purchase processing
o tax returns
o Liaison with company accountant
o monthly financial reporting etc
• Office administration
o working with part-time Administration Assistance
o some telephone answering
o other admin activities
• Sales administration
o sales letters (and follow-up)
o order processing
o product activation etc

The nature of the Liverton business is technical, you will therefore need to have a good grasp of technology, be familiar with Personal Computers and Windows based applications (Word, Excel etc)

This role would be ideally suited to someone who has completed a BCA type qualification and wants to enter the workforce full-time. For the right person, this role is likely to grow into a Financial Management position.
